  • Cookies and similar technologies: used to operate the site, remember preferences, understand site usage, and support marketing (as applicable).

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services (including delivering training and consulting).
  • Administer the free assessment and generate high-level results or recommendations.
  • Communicate with you about requests, scheduling, updates, invoices, and support.
  • Send marketing communications (where permitted), including newsletters and service updates.
  • Analyze website performance and improve user experience.
  • Protect against fraud, misuse, and security incidents, and maintain the integrity of our systems.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4) How We Share Information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

A. Service providers and platforms we use

We share information with vendors and platforms that help us operate our business and provide the Services. These providers may process personal information on our behalf and are authorized to use it only as needed to provide services to us. Examples include:

  • Kajabi (Forms and website platform): When you submit information through our website or assessment forms, your information is collected and stored through our Kajabi account so we can administer the assessment, communicate with you, and deliver Services.
  • Payment processors (Stripe and PayPal): If you purchase training or consulting, payments are processed through Stripe and/or PayPal. We may receive limited information such as your name, email address, billing information, purchase details, and payment status. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
  • Scheduling (Kajabi Scheduler): If you book a call or consultation, your scheduling information (such as name, email, phone number if provided, company name, appointment time, and any intake details you submit) is processed through Kajabi Scheduler so we can schedule and manage appointments.
  • Email marketing and communications (Mailchimp): If you subscribe to updates or we communicate with you through our mailing list, Mailchimp processes information such as your name, email address, subscription status, and engagement metrics (e.g., opens and clicks) to send messages and manage subscriptions.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, pages visited, time on page, and general device/browser information) so we can improve performance and user experience.
  • Advertising/measurement (Meta Pixel): We may use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of ads, understand interactions with our site, and (where enabled) support ad targeting/retargeting on Meta platforms. This may involve sharing information about your browser or device and site interactions via cookies/pixels.

B.  Legal and compliance

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights and property, prevent fraud or security issues, or protect the safety of others.

C. Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information for money.

5) Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our website, understand usage, and (where applicable) support marketing. These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages visited, links clicked, and approximate location (derived from IP).

A. Essential website functions

Some cookies are necessary for the website and forms to function properly, including remembering preferences and enabling secure form submissions through Kajabi.

B. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our site so we can improve content, navigation, and performance. Google Analytics may set cookies to collect usage information and report website trends.

You can learn more about Google’s practices and opt-outs through Google’s tools (for example, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on) and by adjusting your cookie settings in your browser.

C. Advertising and measurement (Meta Pixel)

We may use the Meta Pixel to:

  • Measure ad performance (e.g., whether a visit or form submission occurred after an ad click),
  • Understand how users interact with our pages, and
  • Enable retargeting or interest-based advertising (where configured).

This may involve Meta receiving information through the pixel about your interactions with our site. Meta’s processing is governed by Meta’s own privacy policies.

D. Managing cookies and opting out

You can control cookies through your browser settings (including deleting existing cookies and blocking future cookies). If you disable cookies, some features of our site or forms may not work correctly.

[Optional (recommended if you actively run targeted ads): You may also be able to opt out of certain interest-based advertising via industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) and Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), and through your device settings.]

E. “Do Not Track”

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. Because there is no uniform standard for DNT, our site does not respond to DNT signals in a consistent way.

6) Marketing Preferences

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at [email protected].
If we send SMS/text messages, you may opt out by replying STOP.

7) Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and our contractual obligations.

8) Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no security method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as:

  • Accessing the personal information we hold about you,
  • Correcting inaccurate information,
  • Deleting certain information,
  • Obtaining a copy of your information (portability), and
  • Opting out of certain processing (for example, targeted advertising in some jurisdictions).

To submit a request, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. If applicable, you may have the right to appeal a decision regarding your request.

11) International Visitors

CyberWise is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

12) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when it was last updated. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required.
